Setup Private SSL

NetDNA Offers serving CDN-Hosted files on Pull and Push zone over SSL for free via the Shared SSL. This feature allows you to use your zone in HTTPS mode. You don’t need your own SSL certificate, our server netdna-ssl.com will be used.

  1. Click Manage Zones
  2. Click View Pull Zones
  3. Click Manage next the Pull Zone which Origin IP you need to change
  4. Hit the SSL Tab
  5. Make sure that the”Enable Shared SSL” Check box is unchecked
  6. In the “Custom SSL” box, you have two options
    1. Have us buy your certificate: This will initiate the automatic SSL Installer which will use our SSL partner to generate and install an SSL certificate for your zone. When you select that option, you will see a dropdown menu from which you can select the custom domain to which you need to install the SSL Certificate, then click “Get Certificate”. It will take about a minute or less, then the SSL Certificate will be installed
    2. Use your own certificate:
      Which will allow you to insert your own SSL Certificate, Private Key, and CA-Bundle if you have one, then click “Upload”.  It will take about a minute or less, then the SSL Certificate will be installed.

All done! Now you can use the Custom SSL URL, i.e: https://cdn.yourdomain.com in your SSL pages.
