We will be upgrading the hardware of one of our European edges to allow for better performance and additional capacity. This upgrade will take place on July 14 and will be from 23:00 to 02:00 (local time). There will be no downtime, as we will be rerouting all traffic to different datacenters. However, because of this rerouting, you may experience higher latency than usual. It is expected for this upgrade to take no longer than sixty minutes during our time window.
There will be a scheduled maintenance on Monday, June 27, at 10 PM (PST) on one of our LA Nodes (LAX3) . This should last no longer than a mere minute and will only affect MaxCDN’s API, control panel, and HDDN Servers.
Today marks the launch of Control Panel 2.9. This cumulative effort by our engineers and developers resulted in significant upgrades, from a new product to in depth monitoring.
Control Panel 2.9 is flagshipped by a new dynamic content caching product (beta). Not to be overshadowed, features such as a network status page and improved Google analytics code were released, and are a direct result of your feedback. You spoke your mind, and we listened.
Regarding CP 2.8, it was an internal update, and we decided you shouldn’t be bothered with the fine print. After all, our job is to keep you moving…fast.
